Whether you're planning ahead or coping with a loss, the Town of Blind River offers cemetery services to help preserve and honour the memories of your loved ones.
The Hillside Cemetery, located on Granary Lake Road, has land plots and columbaria niche space available for purchase from the Town. Monuments and flat markers must be purchased and installed by a licensed monument dealer.

Cemetery policies
Please review our policies that help us maintain lots, monuments and niches in Hillside Cemetery:
- Homemade flower boxes, beds, trees, shrubs, or ornaments such as cards, balloons or pictures are not permitted. These items can interfere with the care and maintenance of the cemetery grounds
- Only one flower arrangement, attached to a monument or hanging on a hook close to a marker, and one solar light are allowed on any one grave side at one time
- Christmas and other seasonal items are removed from graves without notice
- Permitted items will be removed without notice when they become discoloured, faded or interfere with maintenance
