Fire Risk High

Due to the dry conditions Blind River and surrounding areas are now at a HIGH risk of fire.
What does that mean for you?

NO Daytime burning at all is permitted
NO permits are being issued at this time
Only active permits are allowed to be used from 7:00pm to 7:00am
Enclosed camp fires (3ft wide) for food and warmth between 7:00PM and 7:00AM

As per the Town's new burn By-law, propane appliances such as propane fire tables will still be allowed, as are CSA and ULC approved smokers.
