
Facility Rentals
The Town of Blind River has a variety of facilities available to rent, such as our Community Centre (hall, meeting rooms and indoor arena), Sellers Beach or Marina Gazebo, the Joe Sidock Gazebo (near boardwalk) and the Boom Camp Trailhead Venue(west entry). Whatever the occasion, find the perfect place to host your next event!
Book a facility
To book a facility with us, please submit a Facility Booking Form. You must also purchase your own insurance. You can now submit your booking application from the website. Simply fill it in and hit submit! You will be contacted once your form is received to arrange payment for the rental.
Facilities for rent

Community Centre Hall
View the availability, rental fees and capacity for renting the Community Centre Hall. You can also book the Community Centre meeting room or the Community Centre kitchen for the day. The kitchen includes use of all silverware and dishes that are on site.
Arena ice surface
View the availability, rental fees and capacity for renting the indoor arena ice surface with ice either in or out.
Sellers Beach, Marina Gazebo Or Joe Sidock Gazebo (near Boardwalk)
You can rent Seller's Beach or the Marina Gazebo for eight hours (one day). The Joe Sidock Gazebo located near the boardwalk. The prices listed on the form are for the venue rental only.

Music licensing
You must pay a SOCAN fee if you are going to be playing licensed music at your event. If your event has dancing, the SOCAN fees will be determined at time of booking.
Insurance requirements
When you rent any facility or space in Blind River, you will need liability insurance. This insurance covers any accidents or damage that might happen while you're using our property. Insurance costs are typically minimal, but they depend on several factors, including what’s happening during and the number of attendees at your rental.

Municipal Facility User Event Insurance Benefits
There are two options for obtaining your insurance:

If you already have a policy, you can choose to use your own insurance. Let your Facility Scheduler know that you plan to use your own insurance and after signing your Facility User Agreement, you will need to provide a copy of your Certificate of Insurance.
