Tax Certificates

Tax certificates show any outstanding tax balances on a property. They are usually ordered before the sale or purchase of a property.

Request a tax certificate

You can request a tax certificate. Please submit a written request, along with the required fee, found in Schedule E of our Municipal User Fees By-law, by mail to:

Requests may also be faxed to 705-356-7343 or emailed to info@blindriver.ca. Please include a copy of your cheque.

You can submit cash (in-person at Town Hall) or a cheque, payable to the Corporation of the Town of Blind River. Please ensure that your submission arrives to us at least three days before the required deadline. This gives us enough time to prepare your tax certificate. Once we have processed your request, we will send your tax certificate to you by fax, email or mail.
