Blind River is blessed with an abundance of adventure and cultural tourism opportunities for the indoors or outdoors.

Outdoors

A vast network of snowmobiling, hiking, skiing and biking trails await the outdoor enthusiast and soft adventure seeker. There are numerous high quality natural beaches, cottages and campgrounds in the area that can be taken advantage of during the summer months. The area is also great for fishing and boating with a full service marina located on Lake Huron. Blind River is also home to one of the best golf courses in Northern Ontario with the 18 hole championship golf course, the Huron Pines Golf and Country Club. Popular local activities include skiing, cycling, horseback riding, weight training, swimming, and yoga. Organized recreational programming and festivals are available throughout the year and are advertised regularly throughout the community.

Indoors

Blind River also offers the indoor experience one hopes for in a relaxing vacation and getaway. Take in some local history or a current art show at the Timber Village Museum, or enjoy one of the numerous events being held at and Library. Live cultural, arts and feature film presentations are also happening on an ongoing basis at the Alain Bray Auditorium.
