CONTRACT POSITION - MUSEUM CURATOR

Invites applications for the position of Museum Curator
This is Maternity Leave Contract Position
May 2017 – December 31, 2017 with possibility of extension $35,872 annually

The Town of Blind River has a vacancy for an experienced professional for the position of Museum Curator to lead, manage and oversee the activities and operation of the Timber Village Museum. Duties and responsibilities include planning functions at the Museum, securing exhibits, supervising summer staff, performing related administrative functions, manage department budget and prepare grant proposals.

SUMMER STUDENT EMPLOYMENT

The Town of Blind River has summer employment opportunities available for Secondary and Post Secondary Students in various departments.

Qualifications/Requirements
-Must be returning to school in September;
-A valid G Driver’s License is preferred;
-Weekend hours required;
-Use of Own Vehicle (Matinenda Landing).
