Museum Curator 
This is a Maternity Leave Contract Position  
August 2019 - October 2020 with possibility of extension


The Town of Blind River has a vacancy for an experienced professional for the position of Museum Curator to lead, manage and oversee the activities and operation of the Timber Village Museum. Duties and responsibilities include planning functions at the Museum, securing exhibits, supervising summer staff, performing related administrative functions, manage department budget and prepare grant proposals.

Casual Crossing Guard
(on call, as needed basis, 3.75 hrs./day) Salary: $14.00/hr.

The Town of Blind River has a vacancy for a Casual Crossing Guard. Duties and responsibilities include ability to communicate effectively with children, assist children in safely crossing highway and streets, record license plate numbers of vehicles failing to stop at crossing zone, have a familiarity with all safety and emergency procedures, current CPR certificate required, or obtained within a reasonable time frame, vulnerable sector check is required, minimum grade 10, previous crossing guard experience preferred.
