Historical Exhibits

The Timber Village Museum showcases historical exhibits that depict life in the lumber camps and early settlement homes and businesses of Blind River and surrounding communities.

Our heritage gallery is comprised of two rooms; one that depicts logging, commercial fishing, mining and other histories related to industry. The second room contains permanent exhibits related to Blind River’s social histories including medicine, education and policing.

Our historical exhibits are continually changing so please check in often for new displays!
