This four day celebration is home to a large variety of winter fun taking place the second weekend in February. The event offers some popular winters sports such as sliding, skating, snow sculpture contest, ice fishing derby, polar dip, hockey, dart tournament, traditional meals and live entertainment. This fun filled weekend takes place with the assistance from many volunteers, committees, service clubs, non-profit organizations and the generous financial contribution from our dedicated sponsors.

Beautiful weather made the 2014 Winter Carnival a great success. Blind River Festivals would like to thank all local organizations that hosted events as well as all the members of the community that came out to enjoy the activities. As always the Blind River Festivals Office is always looking for new ideas, activities, and vendors. If you have something you would like to share with us that would make the 2014 Winter Carnival an even larger and more successful event please contacts us. We hope to see you again next year!
